¿PIMIENTA NEGRA?
El vitíligo es una enfermedad degenerativa de la piel; en la que los melanocitos (las células responsables de la pigmentación de la piel) mueren, dejando así de producir melanina (sustancia causante de la pigmentación de la piel) en la zona donde ha ocurrido la muerte celular. (El albarazo, por el contrario, es una variedad de lepra.)
La mayoría de los casos comienzan antes de los 20 años y se manifiesta por las manchas blancas que resultan de la ausencia del pigmento en la piel; suelen ser zonas circulares con bordes definidos y con una extensión variable aunque suelen observarse más frecuentemente en las extremidades (manos y pies), zonas de extensión y flexión (rodillas y codos) y en algunos casos en la cara o los genitales.
Las causas de aparición de esta enfermedad aún no han sido dilucidadas por completo y los mecanismos por los cuales se desata esta alteración aún se encuentran en proceso de estudio, aunque parece que hay principalmente dos causas posibles: Una de ellas es que podría ser una enfermedad autoinmune, es decir, el propio organismo mata las células de melanina produciendo así la enfermedad. Aunque ahora recientes estudios afirman que el vitíligo en la mayoría de los casos se presenta por mucho estrés y depresión(RC). La otra podría ser de carácter hereditario, ya que se ha observado que los hijos de padres con vitíligo llegan eventualmente a sufrir la enfermedad.
El vitíligo por sí solo no es contagioso, ni por el tacto o el contacto de ninguna naturaleza; los procesos que se dan para su comienzo son inherentes a cada persona, de allí que no haya peligro de contagio alguno.
Un claro ejemplo de esta enfermedad, son las secuelas que ha dejado en Michael Jackson. Científicos han descubierto que esta se puede curar con la pimienta negra.

NOTICIA. LA PIMIENTA NEGRA PUEDE MEJORAR TRATAMIENTO DE VITILIGO.
LONDRES (Reuters) - La pimienta negra podría mejorar el tratamiento de una enfermedad que produce manchas blancas en la piel de cerca del 1 por ciento de la población mundial, informaron investigadores británicos el jueves.
Un equipo del King’s College de Londres demostró en un estudio con ratones que el compuesto llamado piperina, que brinda a la pimienta negra su sabor picante, y sus derivados sintéticos ayudaron a estimular la pigmentación en la piel de las personas con vitiligo.
La piperina fue particularmente efectiva cuando se combinó con el tratamiento de fototerapia que utiliza radiación ultravioleta, indicaron los investigadores en un estudio que se publicará en British Journal of Dermatology.
“Hemos demostraron que el tratamiento tópico con piperina estimula la pigmentación en la piel”, señaló en un comunicado Antony Young, especialista del King’s College que trabajó en la investigación.
“Esto brinda apoyo a la evaluación clínica futura de la piperina y sus derivados como tratamiento novedoso para el vitiligo”, añadió Young.
La enfermedad, a la cual la estrella Michael Jackson culpó en el pasado por su blanqueamiento gradual, destruye la melanina, encargada de dar a la piel su color.
La melanina protege de los rayos ultravioletas, por lo cual las personas con vitiligo corren mucho más riesgo de desarrollar cáncer de piel.
La condición es más preocupante en las personas con pieles más oscuras, señalaron los investigadores.
Los tratamientos actuales incluyen el uso de esteroides sobre la piel manchada y la fototerapia. No obstante, muchas de las personas que no responden a las hormonas y a la fototerapia pueden aumentar su riesgo de sufrir cáncer en la piel, dijeron los autores.
El equipo evaluó los efectos de la piperina y sus derivados al aplicarla sobre la piel de ratones sola o acompañada por tratamiento con radiación.
Los expertos hallaron que cuando usaron sólo los compuestos estimulaban la pigmentación, hasta alcanzar un color marrón claro, en seis semanas. En tanto, cuando se agregaba la radiación, el tratamiento generaba un color más oscuro en la piel en el mismo período de tiempo.

estoy tomando dos pimientas negras despues del desayuno, y puse pimienta negra en alcohol y me aplico con un algodon en las zonas afectadas, un dermatodolo me receto la crema betnovate locion topica y revolver con locion dermox OJO usarla solo por la noche y en la mañana bañarte muy bien para que no te afecte con el sol y me esta dando resultados buenos

Recien estoy padeciendo de esta enfermedad, y estoy llevando un tratamiento, lo que me recomendaron fue comer muchas ensaldas verdes, como: coliflor, espinaca, brocolis, berro, pepinillo, zanahoria etc, frutas: melon, naranja, uvas, mora, franbuesas, mango, frutas secas, comer solo carnes blancas: pollo, pescado, eliminar cigarrilos, bebidas alcolicas, bebidas gaseosas. Remedios a tomar: Epivital y aplicarse la crema Vitilvenz 2 veces al dia, segun estadisticas este tratamiento cura al 80% de las personas que padece esta enfermedad degenerativa, tratamiento usado por medicos Venezolanos
